THE W BOWL
The Women's Football Alliance (WFA) is the premiere women's tackle football league in the country, and the W Bowl is the pinnacle of their competition. Working closely with Teresa Conn and Franco Harris, Field of Play Marketing handled the social media aspects of advertising and marketing for the W Bowl. Starting our social media campaign on June 8th, 2016 and continuing it through August 11th, 2016, we had an average reach of 304 people per Facebook post, and an average engagement of 48 people per post. We also reached post highs of 4,800 and 947 for reach and engagement, respectively. In addition, we also created and maintained the official W Bowl website, as well as creating an Eventbrite page where tickets to the event could be purchased in advance.
OHIO NFL ALUMNI CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC
Field of Play Marketing worked with the Central Ohio NFL Alumni Chapter to help bring their annual Charity Golf Classic to life in 2016. Working with the Alumni Association, Field of Play was in charge of finding members of the Association to act as a Team Captain for the Golf Classic. Proceeds from the tournament went towards the See Kids Dream organization - a charity that works to provide service learning opportunities in Central Ohio.
THE NFLPA PITTSBURGH CHAPTER
Field of Play Marketing recently worked with the Pittsburgh Chapter of the NFL Player's Association on their 2016 Holiday Scholarship Fundraiser. This year's fundraiser was held at Highmark Stadium, just across the river from downtown Pittsburgh, and their goal was to raise money for the City of Hope. Field of Play Marketing created a website and Facebook for the NFLPA Pittsburgh Chapter, created and maintainted an Eventbrite page, helped sell tickets to the event, gained sponsors for the event, worked on local promotions through various Pittsburgh newspapers, travel websites, and radio stations, and booked the venue space for the event.
